Signal Hill & Green Point, Cape Town · Photo: Marlin Clark / Pexels
Cape Town's launch sites above the Atlantic Seaboard offer one of the world's most spectacular tandem flights: Lion's Head and Table Mountain beside you, the ocean ahead and the city spread out below.
You'll fly with a licensed tandem pilot who handles everything — your job is simply to run a few steps on take-off and enjoy the view. Flights typically land near the coast. Paragliding is entirely dependent on wind direction and strength, so flights are often scheduled within a window and confirmed on the day.
Indicative timings — a real operator would confirm the plan for your date.
