This is the classic Cape road trip, done properly. Leave the city along the Atlantic Seaboard, wind past Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles, then head south to the wild, wind-shaped landscapes of Cape Point in Table Mountain National Park.
After time on the Cape Point headland, the route swings around to the False Bay side for a stop near Boulders Beach and its African penguin colony, before returning through the seaside villages of Simon's Town, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg.
