Overview
The V&A Waterfront is built around Cape Town's historic working harbour, with Table Mountain rising behind it. It's a popular base for restaurants, shopping and harbour activities.
It's also the departure point for many boat trips around the bay and for ferries to Robben Island, which are operated and ticketed separately.

Things to do
Walk the quaysides and watch boats come and go.
Several operators run harbour and bay cruises from here.
Plenty of restaurants look out over the water and mountain.
